40 miles and a target reached

With only a month to go until the big day, excitement is setting in a treat. It may not be a mammoth task for some but 52 miles will be the furthest distance I've ever cycled and will definitely be something to tell the grandkids about...!

Firstly, a huge thank you to everyone that has donated. When I set my target 3 months ago, I never realised that I'd be able to reach it and with all of your unfailing generosity, I'm in the position of having to up my target. To you donators....THANK YOU!!!

This weekend saw me undertake my first co-ride with a great friend of mine. Having someone around helps you to get through the dark sections - Bromsgrove incline, I'm looking at you! I also managed to tackle a monster 40 miles worth of distance, something which I could never have imagined. Only another 12 miles to find from somewhere!

As time is ticking on, getting those donations in is even more important. Your money goes directly to Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and will help to achieve their aim of a 100% survival rate for all types of blood cancer. If you want to find out more about how Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research are helping to beat lymphoma then click here. If you would like to donate (and I'd love you forever if you did!), click here.
Next week, I'm hoping to be able to tell you I've done 45 miles, keep your fingers crossed!

Big love as always!

Thank you for your efforts. I wish I could sponsor everybody but instead I will be there at the start line and finish line cheering you all on. Hope you have a good ride and that the weather is kind to you all
