GB Railfreight employees Josh and Danny are gearing up for a football challenge like no other this weekend, touring every professional stadium in England and Wales in less than 4 days.

We are delighted that GB Railfreight are busy raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as their Charity of the Year.

Employees have been carrying out various fundraising activities for us including sponsored bike rides, skydives, marathons and dryathons!

This weekend, GB Railfreight employees Josh Love and Danny Matthews are attempting the 92 Grounds in 92 Hours Challenge to raise money to beat blood cancer.....

They explain more below:

'It’s a challenge to visit all 92 football stadiums in the football league (Premier League, Championship, League One and League Two), covering every professional football ground in England and Wales within 92 hours.

It’s a total of 2,222 miles, and we are aiming to raise £1 per mile we cover.

We will be starting on Friday 28th November from the Peterborough United stadium and finishing on Tuesday 2nd December (92 hours later) in Doncaster.

We had the idea of doing this ourselves after seeing an article on it in the Metro newspaper a few months ago, and thought it would be something that we could have a go at.

A picture of us will be uploaded at each ground along the way on our Facebook page': https://www.facebook.com/92Stadiumsin92Hours

If you would like to sponsor Josh and Danny on their epic challenge, you can do so at: https://www.justgiving.com/92StadiumsIn92Hours

On behalf of everyone here at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, we wish you the best of luck and look forward to seeing the pictures of your stadium journey!

Brilliant idea guys! All the best of luck and fingers crossed that you bring some fortune to Arsenal when you go past the Hawthorns - we need it the way we've been playing in the league this year! What's the last ground on your list?

Sorry Dan - just saw that Doncaster is the last stop on the list. Are you going to get to watch any of the games?
