Ambassador Fundraising Challenge

Raising £250,000 to help fund the research that will develop new and more effective treatments both now and in the future.

Last year we were blown away by your incredible fundraising efforts - something we hadn't even factored in to the Ambassador programme - so we've decided to set a fundraising target of £250,000 for us to reach together which will go directly in to the next round of research funding in November.

That sounds a lot but I'm confident that we'll reach the target comfortably if we work together and I've set up a Bloodwise Ambassador JustGiving page for us to track our progress and channel our fundraising towards.

How do I get involved?

For this to work we need you to create your own JustGiving pages which I can link up to the main page to make sure it gets allocated to the overall pot.

There is no limit to the amount of pages that I can add so if you want to set up multiple pages for each event that you do or simply have one central page for all your activities is completely up to you. Here's one I've set up for myself as an example: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/Bloodwise-Ambassador-Challenge-2017

How do I add my JustGiving page to the team page?

To add your personal JustGiving pages to the Bloodwise Ambassador JustGiving page all you'll need to do is send me the link to your page for me to add it to the list.

Any adhoc donations such as cheques or cash can also be added as offline donations on your personal JustGiving pages and will be automatically added to the group total.

N.B. If you don't want to do any fundraising online that's absolutely fine. When sending in any money collected offline all you have to do is add a note saying you'd like it to be added to the Bloodwise Ambassador Total.

Team entries at Bloodwise events

I'm very keen to try and get involved in as many fundraising events that we organise as possible and thought it might be a nice idea to enter Ambassador teams at a few events. I'm open to suggestions but thought that it might be nice to enter teams in to the London Bikeathon, Forget-Me-Not-Walks and perhaps the Great North Runs but nothing is set in stone.

To keep momentum going I'll be posting regular updates on how we're getting on in the Ambassador Facebook group where you can also share ideas and fundraising achievements. I'll also look to include an update in the monthly Ambassador newsletter.

I'm very excited about this and think it is a great opportunity for us to show just how much of a difference we can make as a group. At the end of the day we're all in this together and it's by working together that we will beat blood cancer.

If you have any questions or ideas about this fundraising challenge please don't hesitate to get in touch with me at ajackson@bloodwise.org.uk.
