Bay Construct are supporting Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research through a 3-year partnership, in which they hope to raise £35,000 towards beating blood cancers.
Year 1 will see Divisional Director Andy Peacock complete the 190 mile Rat Race Crossing bike ride, and Site Manager Peter Kalis scale the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2015.
Bay Construct are organising a number of staff events to raise awareness and funds across the year. They are also sponsoring the production of a series of short films featuring patients and families speaking about their experiences with blood cancer. This contribution will facilitate an invaluable extension of our online patient support function, as it will enable those affected by the disease to educate and connect with one another.
The construction company was founded in April 2011 with offices in Leeds and Central London. Bay Construct are a fitting partner for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, as aligned with our mission to make patients’ lives better, they also put their clients’ needs at the centre of everything they do.
