Recently Rachael attended Twyn School in Caerphilly and set the entire school the challenge of counting up their coppers for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

For the six weeks before the end of the school term, Twyn School in Caerphilly decided to take on the Big Copper Count Up Challenge - and boy did they succeed! Raising a phenomenal £432.08 between each class, they smashed their original target and made sure that the very first Big Copper Count Up in Wales was a huge success!

This simple idea saw each class receive a collection tub which they then filled with their coppers over the term. The winning class then received a special prize from Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.

Thank you to all the students, parents and teachers who got so involved and supported the challenge so wholeheartedly.

Does this sound like something you could do in your school or workplace? Why not challenge your classmates or workmates and see who can raise the most over a six week period?
