On Wednesday 7th September Bloodwise Ambassador and chronic myeloid leukaemia (CML) patient Katie Ruane (pictured) will be coming in to the office to answer your questions about life as a blood cancer patient.
Katie was first diagnosed with CML in 2007 during her final year of university and has been on treatment ever since. Like many blood cancer patients she suffers from side-effects - not least fatigue - and she has written about a number of topics from switching treatments and changing consultants to fertility and the impact that blood cancer has had on her relationships. Read Katie's amazing blogs to find out more.
Katie's chat will be filmed and streamed live from 10.30am on the Bloodwise Facebook page in our first ever Facebook Live event and is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and find out more about life with blood cancer.
Katie is happy to talk about absolutely any aspect of her life as a blood cancer patient and welcomes any questions that you might have. You'll be able to ask questions on our Facebook page on the day however we're also encouraging questions in advance.
If you have a question that you'd like to ask Katie please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Katie's Facebook Live chat is the first of a series of Q&As that we're hoping to feature for Blood Cancer Awareness Month. Find out more about Blood Cancer Awareness Month here: https://bloodwise.org.uk/our-awareness-campaign
