On Wednesday 28th September Bloodwise Ambassador and Hodgkin lymphoma patient Federica Nardella (pictured) will be coming in to the office to answer your questions about her experiences with blood cancer in our final Facebook Live Q&A for Blood Cancer Awareness Month.
Federica was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in 2007 just a year after moving to London from Italy to go to university. She'd been suffering from weight loss and night sweats but it wasn't until a big lump appear on her neck that the lymphoma was finally picked up. Federica received treatment back in Italy but upon achieving remission returned to England to complete her studies.
Federica never once stopped dreaming or making plans for the future during her treatment and took to writing songs to help inspire others. She's also one of our patient Ambassadors and is determined to help support other patients and raise awareness in any way she can. Read Federica's amazing blogs to find out more.
Federica's chat will be streamed live from 10.30 am on the Bloodwise Facebook page in our second Facebook Live event and is a great opportunity for you to ask questions and find out more about life with lymphoma.
Federica is happy to talk about absolutely any aspect of her experiences and is keen to answer any questions that you might have. You'll be able to ask questions on our Facebook page on the day however we're also encouraging questions in advance.
