George was  first diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukaemia in 2005. After undergoing chemotherapy over two years which included spending ten months in hospital, George was given the all clear in 2007.

However after 5 years in remission he sadly relapsed and had to undergo further intensive chemotherapy followed by a stem cell transplant in 2014. George is now back in remission and keen to help raise awareness and support others affected by blood cancer.
