Wendy joins us to share her experiences and answer your questions about non-Hodgkin lymphoma in our latest Facebook Live Q&A

On Thursday 23rd February Bloodwise Ambassador Wendy Leigh joins us to share her experiences and answer your questions about blood cancer in our latest live patient Q&A on Facebook from 1pm.

Wendy was finally diagnosed with follicular lymphoma on 23rd December in 2011 after two years of not feeling quite right which included frequent night sweats and a number of non-specific pains.

Finding out just before Christmas Wendy decided not to tell her family worrying it would ruin the festive period but began treatment almost immediately with two intensive rounds of R-CVP chemotherapy followed by two years of maintenance treatment using Rituximab.

Wendy has been in remission ever since but still has regular check-ups as her particular type of lymphoma is generally regarded as incurable. She takes nothing for granted and is fully aware that the maintenance treatment she underwent was only possible due to research which she regards as an investment in the future for all of us.

If you have a question that you'd like to ask Wendy ahead of the Q&A please email us at You can read more about Wendy's experiences here:
