BNP Paribas Real Estate showed its commitment to beating blood cancers by announcing a two year partnership with Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research.
In an unusual fundraising challenge, the heads of BNP Paribas Real Estate’s 11 UK regional offices were given £100 each by the company to turn into as much money as possible in March 2010. The ‘Charity Challenge’ saw the heads competing against each other to be named top fundraiser and raised £35,000 in total. Needless to say, the challenge has been set again this year to raise even more money to help beat blood cancers!
Mark England, CEO at BNP Paribas Real Estate, says: "Our employees overwhelmingly voted for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as our chosen charity for 2010 and 2011. We are all looking forward to working in partnership to raise as much money as possible for this very worthwhile cause, while no doubt having some fun in the process."
