I recently joined staff at Marks & Spencer Cheshire Oaks for a cheque presentation from the store's year of fundraising to beat blood cancer.
Staff at the Cheshire Oaks store chose Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as their 'charity of the year' starting April 2014, and over the past 12 months they've raised an amazing £21,629.29!
Staff across all the various departments in the store have undertaken a terrific range of events and activities to raise money throughout the past year. As well as staff supporting us throughout the year in store, also each month a different department raised funds to help beat blood cancer, from sponsored runs and a golf day, to a car wash and cake sales.
A team from the Foods Department took part in a sponsored zip slide event to contribute to the store's overall total, here's the group pictured below:
Many thanks to all the staff at the store for their super support and fundraising this past year!
