Clumber Park was turned into a sea of red on a perfect summer's day when Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research supporters rallied together to bike to beat blood cancer.

Amongst them cyclists were our own team, TEAM JOE, a total of 25 members attended the event consisting of 7 cyclists & 18 volunteers & supporters, all inspired by our son's fight against acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.

The ride was started by our very own, Joe Hogan(6) before more than 200 cyclists battled through the mud with fire in their bellies for such a worthy cause, some fighters, some survivors & others in honour of loved one's who have fought or lost their fight. The atmosphere was fantastic, it was a marvellous day.

TEAM JOE raised a fantastic £751.50 from sponsorship with more to collect. This takes the TEAM JOE total to date to £6111.50 raised in the last year alone which will all go towards the funding of LLR's fantastic work. I am incredibly proud of our son, Joe & of his team & everything we have achieved. Thank you & well done to all involved.

Now let's get ready for the Birmingham Bikeathon.............................
