I have been currently training my stamina. Being an asthmatic, it has been very difficult to run for a long period of time. I get very out of breath in about 2/3 minutes. Since June, I've been eating healthier and spending 3/4 days a week after work at the gym.
At first, running on the treadmill was very hard. I found it very difficult to even jog for 5-10minutes without having to press pause or stop. After 2 months of building my stamina, I find it much easier to run for 15-20mins without stopping. My breathing has gotten a lot better and I feel that I will be ready when the 14th comes.
The conditions on the roads will be very different compared to the gym. My next plan is to start running outdoors and keep this going regularly until the day.
