Join us on Facebook Live and share your knowledge with patients and anyone else affected by blood cancer!

This year Bloodwise will be running a Facebook Live session with a haemato-oncology nurse every couple of months on various topics which we get asked about a lot, such as:

  • Coping with treatment and side effects
  • Talking to your family about your condition
  • Sexual Rehabilitation

These videos would be a fantastic resource for patients and their families  as they are an interactive way of breaking down and explaining the information out there and addressing some really key issues!

However, we can’t do any of this without your help!

If you have expert knowledge on any of the topics above or if you have an idea for a topic which you think might be helpful, and you want to take on the challenge, then please email and be the first to take to Facebook with us for a Live session!

And if you’re still not sure, to give you a little taste of what it’ll be like, here are some sessions we’ve already had with our Patient Ambassadors on Facebook and with a clinical psychologist on what it’s like living with blood cancer and going through treatment or being on watch and wait!

This session with our Patient Ambassador, Kate Giles reached just under 3000 people

This Session with clinical psychologist Dr Frances Goodhart reached 60,000 people

A session with our Patient Ambassador, Paul Carless reached nearly 65,000 people
