Rosemary and Humphrey Laughton raised money for LLR by participating in the KPMG Isle of Man Promenade Relay on the 13th June. Although running for different teams they were equally committed to raising funds for LLR as their son Will was diagnosed with ALL in July 2012.
Will received a bone marrow transplant from his brother George in Nov 12 and as the smiling picture shows (Will is on the left) both completed the 26 mile London Bikeathon course in 2013, just 10 months after Will's transplant, a great achievement!
The battle of the parents finshed all square with Humphrey having a slightly faster time than Rosemary but Rosemary's team finshing ahead!
They also raised a fantastic £900 for LLR.
So what sporting challenge next for the Laughton Family, how about the Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Triathlon in 2015?
