Find out more about the launch of a new programme designed to get patients quicker access to clinical trials

Sometimes when patients come to see me here at The Christie Hospital in Manchester they ask about taking part in a clinical trial. Many others however are not aware of clinical trials at all or that entry into a clinical trial may be a suitable treatment choice.

We would like to make sure all patients have information about and access to all treatment options available to them - and this includes clinical trials. So we are delighted to announce the launch of a new fast access to trials (FAT) programme designed to help blood cancer patients get quick and direct access to relevant clinical trials. The FAT programme is a collaboration between YourTreatmentChoices.com, Bloodwise, Innovate UK, The Christie Hospital and the Manchester Cancer Research Centre, Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, St Bartholomews (Barts), London and Cancer Research UK Centre Southampton General Hospital.

If you are a patient with lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma or amyloidosis click here to find information about clinical trials. By answering some simple questions you can then get fast access to a trial that may be relevant to you.
