Day 20 - After many arduous long days our final day was shortest yet at 45 miles. We set off early after breakfast about 8.30 am to find our way to iconic scenery at Kinderdijk consisting of 19 windmills originally built in 1738. From here we had a problem with ferry timings and location to get to Ridderkerk. We were told that the ferry no longer operated from the designated point. We made a decision to use another ferry meaning a second ferry trip. Got there eventually then proceeded onto Rotterdam which we successfully navigated to the other side for lunch at Schiedam. Off again at 1.30 pm to reach the Hook of Holland end of journey at 4.00 pm. This involved riding down a 1km stretch of concrete breakwater to complete our amazing adventure. Final total milage 922 in 80.5 hours.
