A first for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research!

Next month twenty members of the Frankie & Benny’s team in Scotland are taking part in a gruelling task  – I’m a manager get me out of here, to help us beat blood cancers!

On the 18th & 19th of June they will all be shipwrecked on Inchconnachan Island near Loch Lomond; the only inhabitants there are wallabies!

The team will be canoeing over to the island and faced with bush tucker like trials including eating, survival, navigation and endurance activities. They will have to set up their own camp - build a shelter, a fire to cook food and catch their own food! All of this will be done with no modern day necessities – mobile phones, showers, toilets and more importantly no way off the island!

The only way to leave the island is to build their own raft to get back across. . .

If you would like to donate to the wonderful cause and the team please visit the link below or text SURV51 with the amount to 70070! The page below is linked to the team page.

This is a great idea! I can't wait to read the blog about the event (after it's taken place of course!). Sounds like so much fun!!!

I'm happy to emulate this and be sent to the Outer Hebrides, the only thing is that I might not try too hard to escape!

Wonderful support from Frankie & Benny's, we are so lucky to be their partners,

Thank you
