A great way to boost your fundraising if you're doing a sponsored event is to raise money online.
All you need to do is set up an online giving page - see how to do it below, and you're ready to go. We've also included some tips on how to spread the word!
Set up an online giving page
Setting up an online giving page with JustGiving or Virgin Money Giving is a great way to raise money, enabling people to sponsor you really easily. All you need to do is visit the site, select Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as your charity and then create your page. You can then personalise it with photos and messages and send the link to everyone you know.

Use social networking websites
A great way to increase awareness of your event is to add details to your Facebook or Twitter. You can link these sites directly to your online giving page, making it even simpler for people to donate. Another way to inspire people, and raise awareness, is to blog about how your preparation is going. If people see the amount of time you’re committing, and why you’re doing your event, then they’ll be more likely to dig deep!
Email your family and friends
Target your most generous supporters first. People tend to match the amounts already listed on the page.
Try re-sending the link to your page one week before the event to get some last minute sponsors. Then send it one more time once you've done the event - it's never too late!
