We've got loads of fun and seasonal fundraising ideas for you to kick start your fundraising this spring.

We know that many of our supporters want to do anything they can to help us to beat blood cancer, but sometimes thinking of what to do to help can be the toughest part, so we've put our heads together in the regional fundraising team to come up with some fun and exciting ways to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. There's bound to be something for everyone!

Host an Easter egg competition
Kirsty Potter, Scotland

If you’re looking to do some fundraising around Easter, why not hold a decorated Easter egg competition at work or at school? Decorate your egg however you like. You could draw a funny face, add accessories… let the creative juices flow!

Display the eggs and place a coin collection box with them so that people can vote for their favourite. Which will win?

More Easter themed fundraising ideas
Catriona Tait, North

Catriona, our regional manager in the north, has more Easter themed fundraising for you. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

Guess how many mini eggs are in the jar? Donate £1 per entry and the winner gets the take the jar home. Do some Easter themed baking with cream egg chocolate brownies and bunny shaped cookies, sell these in your office or at school, with money made donated to the charity.

Finally, see if a local supermarket is able to donate some chocolate eggs and host your own Easter egg hunt, getting your street or local community involved. With a donation to take part, those who can find an egg get to keep it as a prize!

Thrill seekers wanted!
Rachael Davies - Wales

Zip slide from the famous Newport Transporter Bridge, the iconic Tyne Bridge in Newcastle or the landmark BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Arts in Gateshead and raise money to beat blood cancer!

Sign up for one of these thrilling events and at the same time raise funds for us. Simply click on the link below, choose your venue, register for the event and choose Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research as your chosen charity from the drop down menu. Wouldn't it be great if we could fill most of the places with people taking part to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, wearing our bright red t-shirts?

Book your space now and don't forget to click on our name in the drop down box.

There's no minimum sponsorship required, just raise as much as you can!

Organise your own walk
Emma Jones - Midlands

Why not organise a walk in your local community?  Walks are a great way of raising money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research and bringing people together of all ages and fitness levels! The walk can be long or short in distance and involve a large or small number of people.  We can help you with planning and publicity for your very own event.

If you feel this is something you might like to take on, please contact Madeline Hudson in our Edinburgh office on 0131 5241322 or at

Get fit in 2015
Stuart Lees – South West England

Are you looking for to get fit in 2015, while raising money to beat blood cancer? We’ve got a whole host of events taking place, from sponsored walks to fun-runs or swimming events and you can see them all here. Organise your own pub quiz
Caitlin O’Neill - South East

Everyone loves a pub quiz so why not hold one at your local? It's easy to find quiz questions on the internet, ask your friends and family to come along and it could well turn into a weekly or monthly event! Charge participants for entry and then give 50% of the takings to the winner and you make the other 50% for your fundraising. Soon you'll have some dedicated attendees, begging you to hold another!

We hope you found something here that captured your imagination and inspired you to start planning your next fundraising venture! But if you need any more information, please contact the regional manager in your region: we'd love to hear from you!
