Christmas shoppers have donated £2158 to a Bloodwise charity gift wrap stall

Throughout December Bloodwise hosted a gift wrap stall at Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough, alongside a team of brilliant volunteers who carefully and expertly wrapped Christmas presents for passing shoppers in return for donations. We’re delighted to announce that the stall has raised a fantastic £2,158.00!

Open from Friday 4 December all the way through to Christmas Eve, the stall was manned purely by volunteers. The shoppers definitely tested the volunteers' wrapping skills, however and gave them some interesting and challenging presents to wrap, including a rather tall ceramic giraffe, a house plant and a scooter!

We would like to say a huge thank you to all the shoppers in Queensgate who generously donated money and supported Bloodwise this Christmas.

An extra special thank you also goes to all our fabulous volunteers who gave up their time to help us in our mission to beat blood cancer. Thank you to Lyn, Sarah, Severine, Tim, Keyleigh, Sarah, Jean, ladies from On The Edge WI and Peterborough Soroptomists and the staff from Barclays, Leeds Building Society and Norwich and Peterborough Building Society.
