Getting ready for Blood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Blood Cancer Awareness Month which provides a massive opportunity to raise awareness of blood cancer and the importance of research and charities like Bloodwise.

Planning is already underway and as Ambassadors we'll be looking to you to lead the way with the campaign which will have a number of elements to it. Things to look out for include:

  • Opportunities to engage with your constituency MP
  • A big push to raise blood cancer awareness in regional areas
  • An exciting announcement by one of our most committed fundraising groups (sorry I'm araid I can't reveal any more than that at this stage!)

We'll also be using every opportunity on our Social Media channels to share facts about blood cancer like this:



How you can help

Next month's newsletter will focus on ways that you can get involved in Blood Cancer Awareness Month and points of contact will also be getting in touch individually to ask for your help.

Our press team are already thinking about case studies to put out to regional press for September. If you're interested in sharing your story as part of our September campaign please email press@bloodwise.org.uk and they can sent you out a form to register your interest.
