The University of Manchester organises 'The Great Fundraise', where groups of students are challenged to raise a minimum of £300 for their chosen cause.

Students are able to develop their own fundraising project and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research are delighted to have been chosen by one group to raise funds to help beat blood cancer.

The group of 4 are currently getting plans together for their fundraising which includes a bake sale, and we wanted to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for choosing our charity and to wish you all the best with your fundraising!

It's currently Student Volunteering Week, running from Monday 24th February to Sunday 2nd March, and this group's support and the University 'The Great Fundraise' initiative provides a fantastic example of how important student volunteering and support is.
