Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page and read about the challenge that I have set myself!
On Sunday 16th August I will be taking part in the London Bikeathon 2015, one of the capital’s longest running annual charity bike rides, in aid of Leukeamia & Lymphoma Reasearch, your UK blood cancer charity. Cycling has become one of my great passions in life and I thought what a perfect opportunity to combine doing something I love whilst raising money and awareness for a truly great cause!
The gruelling early start will set off from Brunswick Square Gardens and winds through 52 miles worth of some of the great sights and iconic landmarks that London has to offer. From St Pauls Cathedral, past the London Eye and ending up all the way over in South West London in the beautiful Richmond Park. The route will then take me back past Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and finally my starting point of Brunswick Square Gardens where I will hopefully sail across the finish line!
I'm on a mission to help people to live their best life and part of this goal is to raise money for Leukeamia & Lymphoma Research. Every year this charity stops more people dying of blood cancer and its researchers are even working to stop people developing blood cancer in the first place. They improve the lives of patients with blood cancers such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma because they believe everyone should be able to live their life to the full.
So please do dig deep and sponsor me for this huge task I have set myself. Your support is very much appreciated and will spur me on to cross that finish line and help those in need!
