My homemade triathlon explains why Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research is so important to me

If it wasn't for the work of charities such as Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research, I probably wouldn't still be here, having relapsed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia in October 2013, eight years after my initial diagnosis.

So, 64 days after my stem cell transplant, I filmed my own 'triathlon' effort, explaining my story in order to persuade everyone to support my friend Anna taking on the real thing at Blenheim Palace...

George your video is absolutely AMAZING! Thank you so, so much for doing this and congratulations on the successful transplant. I hope the recovery is going well and wish Alex all the best in the triathlon tomorrow.

I'd also love to read more about your experiences with ALL and am sure I wouldn't be alone in this as you're inspiration to others going through treatment or have relapsed.

Have a great weekend and look forward to reading your next blog!
