Fancy a walk in Broughty Ferry near Dundee to help us beat blood cancers?

A week after my personal challenge (30km for 30 years)  in memory of my brother Will, I will be walking the lovely 5km Dundee Walk.

I've organised for the Dundee Walk to be back after a three year break. The walk is taking place at Broughty Ferry meeting at Castle Green on Sunday 27 July!

The walk starts from Castle Green and follows a lovely coastline trail. Look at the photo below, isn't it fabulous! The pictures were taken by Kirsty when we were up a couple of months ago to walk the route to check the hazards for the risk assessment.

You can enjoy the beauty of Castle Green at Broughty Ferry overlooking the coastline, whilst raising funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. What are you waiting for for? Sign up and join us for a lovely summer walk!

A pleasant walk leads along the Esplanade past the picturesque Barnhill Rock Gardens below. Don't they look pretty?!

Altough this walk has been organised by the Regional Team in Scotland, we do have other fantastic supporters who are taking part. For example, Lynn and Blair Fraser. Blair Fraser is currently undergoing treatment for Chronic myeloid leukaemia at Ninewells in Dundee.

We also have the team 'The Walking Kanes'. Nicolle Kane says "Last year our family lost a very important member, Norman Kane, he was, a loving husband, a father, a grandfather and a great grandfather. A year on 10 members of our family, ranging from 9 to 56 are getting together to complete the Leukiemia and Lymphoma 5 km walk of his birthplace in Dundee."
