Help us raise awareness and support other blood cancer patients in your area by at one of our regional Impact Days

In April and May we'll be holding our annual Impact Day series at 5 venues across the UK which we would love for Ambassadors to help out with. 

Lots of you have signed up already however there are still places available. Have a look through the Impact Days below and get in touch with the relevant regional manager to register your interest: 

1. Impact Day Scotland - Glasgow

The Scottish Impact Day is being held at the Light House Museum in Glasgow on Saturday 22nd April. Alongside presentations and updates by staff on what the charity is up to there will be guest speakers in the form of a current CML patient, a researcher and a clinical nurse specialist.

Tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided and there will also be lots of opportunities for you to speak to other guests about your experiences and share ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness and funds to further support blood cancer patients and their families.

2. Impact Day South East - London

The South East Impact Day is being held at the Institute of Child Health in London on Saturday 22nd April. Alongside presentations and updates by staff on what the charity is up to there will be guest speakers including George Norton who will be talking about his experiences with ALL.

Tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided and there will also be lots of opportunities for you to speak to other guests about your experiences and share ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness and funds to further support blood cancer patients and their families.

3. Impact Day South West - Bristol

The South West Impact Day is being held at the Double Tree by Hilton in Bristol on Saturday 6th May. Alongside presentations and updates by staff on what the charity is up to there will be guest speakers including Brett Grist who will be talking about his experiences with AML.

Tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided and there will also be lots of opportunities for you to speak to other guests about your experiences and share ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness and funds to further support blood cancer patients and their families.

4. Impact Day North - Leeds

The North Impact Day is being held at the Met Hotel in Leeds on Saturday 20th May. Alongside presentations and updates by staff on what the charity is up to there will be guest speakers including Helen Tait who will be talking about her experiences with AML.

Tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided and there will also be lots of opportunities for you to speak to other guests about your experiences and share ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness and funds to further support blood cancer patients and their families.

5. Impact Day Midlands - Birmingham

The Midlands Impact Day is being held at the University of Birmingham in Birmingham on Saturday 20th May. Alongside presentations and updates by staff on what the charity is up to there will be guest speakers including Louise Smith who will be talking about her experiences with Hodgkin lymphoma.

Tea, refreshments and lunch will be provided and there will also be lots of opportunities for you to speak to other guests about your experiences and share ideas on how we can work together to raise awareness and funds to further support blood cancer patients and their families.

N.B. There will be a number of ways for you to get involved in the Impact Days including manning our patient information stand, talking to other guests about your experiences with blood cancer and encouraging other attendees to register their interest in becoming Ambassadors.

We'll be sending out emails with more details about roles on Friday 7th April to all those that have signed up to take part.
