We’re delighted to announce our new partnership with the Blenheim Palace Triathlon. From 2013 to 2016, Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research will be the chief sponsor of what will now be titled as the ‘Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Blenheim Palace Triathlon’. The coverage we’re set to receive will be unprecedented and over the next few years we will undoubtedly have many more Blenheim triathletes choosing to fundraise for us. After eight years of working with the Blenheim Palace Triathlon we have raised over £750,000 and this new partnership will see us exceed the £1million figure.
It is fantastic to be associated with what has to be the most prestigious and scenic triathlon in the UK. Aside from the beautiful setting, Blenheim’s uniqueness stems from the fact that it’s open to all levels of triathlete, whatever their fitness, experience or age.
Having taken part on several occasions I can say that it is the most enjoyable event that I have ever experienced. The camaraderie amongst competitors, the enthusiasm of the marshals and the great support from the crowds really makes it a joy to compete in.
Over 7500 fundraisers have shared the Blenheim experience and raised money for our charity since 2005. We built up some great relationships with supporters and many have stayed with us since the very firstevent eight years ago.
We are extremely positive and are looking forward to what will be a very successful alliance with the Blenheim Palace Triathlon. The sport has gained amazing coverage through the undisputed success of the Brownlee Brothers and it’s been identified as one of the key growth sports in the UK. We’re hugely proud to be a part of that.
