Louis, Archie, Harry and Tom will be taking on a 1,200 mile three-stage European cycle challenge starting in London and ending in Lisbon this summer.
Hello, my name is Louis Metcalfe, I am 17, and I have lived in Notting hill in London for almost all my life. I am half American and half British. I wanted to do this bike ride because my mother, Lily Metcalfe, died of leukaemia almost six years ago. Currently I am studying Latin, Greek, Modern History and Spanish and row at my school. I love sailing, waterskiing and SCUBA. I am not afraid of a challenge, which is, I suppose, one of the reasons I have chosen to do this!
Hi, my name is Archie Gilmour and I am 17. I was born in New York and have lived all over the world (from Senegal to Israel)! At the moment I live in Serbia. I study French, Spanish, Arabic, Modern History and Politics. I would like to go to university in America, or perhaps stay in England and study Modern Languages.
