The London bikeathon on 31st August is done, now on to the Birmingham challenge!

Thank you so much to everybody who has donted so far for a great cause.

As you know if you are reading this I'm doing this following the diagnosis of my Dad with Lymphoma. He's doing really well in his treatment and we are so proud of how he and Mum have coped with the challenge!

My challenge is not as great but in two parts and I'm pleased to say I got round the first challenge in one piece! 52 mile around London was tough going, loads of cyclists kept the buzz all the way round but the traffic lights helped to make it a very stop start ride. By the end I felt like I'd done a fair bit more than 52 miles, which is probably good given the 100 mile ride from Birmingham is on the horizon!

Thanks also to my Uncle Guya and cousin Josh for riding with me around the route, we had a great time together and also to Uncle Paul and cousin Annabel for completing the 26 mile course with fan support from Aunty Nads and Grandpa! A great day all round!

I'll post a photo of exhausted me after ride 2!

Thanks again for supporting

David
