The National Cancer Research Institute are looking to recruit patients, carers and others affected by lymphoma to join their NCRI Clinical Studies Lymphoma group.

The clinical Studies Group oversees the design and delivery of all lymphoma clinical trials and this is a great opportunity for patients to have a direct say in treatment options. Knowledge of research techniques or a background in natural sciences is an advantage but by no means essential and there is very good induction training and support available to help you get up to speed.

Candidates need to be able to attend 3 meetings per year as well as occasional requests for written comments and tele-conferences. Previous experience of working on committees and/or evidence of good communication and influencing skills is also desirable but again not essential.

More information about the role including an application pack is available at: http://csg.ncri.org.uk/newsfeed/ - the closing date for applications is 5pm on Friday May 29th.
