Marks & Spencer have been supporting us since 2006 when they first sponsored Sir Ian Botham's Walk.
In 2010, M&S once again kindly sponsored Beefy's 25th anniversary walk to beat childhood leukaemia. The walk started at an M&S store each day and the retailer provided Beefy and his crew with kit, plus M&S food and drink for the ten days of the walk.
During April 2010 Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research's special new pinbadges were on sale in all their major stores. Staff at stores across the UK have really got behind Sir Ian and our charity too, some walked with Beefy, others have organised in-store fundraising challenges of their own. In addition M&S kindly donated 10% from a special Easter card pack during April.
In 2010 M&S raised a phenomenal £250,000, which will be invested in research into better treatments and cures for childhood leukaemia.
