New Plan, First 30 miles

As I blogged before I was thinking about how to do my training. My initial thought was to do it as an extension of my daily commute. This would increase the miles covered but not simulate the slog of the bike-athon because of the stop-start nature of london traffic. Dang. However not all was lost and a colleauge at work suggested a park. 

And so my plan is now doing my miles around Victoria Park three, maybe four or five, times a week creeping the miles up and up til i get to 52 miles. This plan was on tuesday. 

As of this evening I have done three days/nights training with about 40 miles under my belt. 

Still not sure I can do this 52 miles, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.
