1) swap some different wheels onto your bike

2) don't do a proper road test

3) jump on bike to go to work

4) randomly bump into another cyclist you know, who wants to ride with you, and talk a lot

5) discover that you feel terrible and have no speed, but do not trouble yourself to stop and work out why, because you don't want to look like a wuss

6) arrive at work and discover you have ridden most of the way there with the back brake locked on... Doh




This did make me laugh! As a cycling rookie I'd have made similar mistakes and would definitely have carried on rather than stop and risk looking stupid.
