If you don’t fancy joining in one of our existing walks, or you can’t find one near you, why not organise your own? You can make it as small or as large as you wish and we’ll help you all the way.

Walking can be great fun for anyone of any age, so whether you’re walking in memory of a loved one, or just fancy some exercise, then a Forget Me Not Walk is a fantastic way to make a real difference to the lives of many adults and children across the UK. Here are a few tips to get you started:

Decide how far you’d like to walk

Remember to think about who will be walking and make it appropriate for them.

Decide where you’d like to walk

Try to choose public footpaths or paths where possible. These are great websites that can help you plan where to walk:

www.walkit.com
www.walking-routes.co.uk

Or use your local knowledge to find the perfect spot to hold your event in.

Decide who you’d like to invite

Get friends, family, or the local school or other community groups involved. Then get in touch and we can help with the planning and any advice you may need.
