We now have online fundraising pages available specially for anyone wishing to donate or raise money in memory of a loved one.

Giving in memory of a loved one is one of the most touching ways that people choose to support Bloodwise. Some of our supporters have had Tribute or Forget-me-Not Funds set up for many years in memory of someone close to them. One thing that’s often been requested is a way to bring these funds to life in the form of an online page.

So we set about making this happen, and have now set up an option on JustGiving where anyone can create an online fundraising page and give in memory of a loved one.

Give in memory to Bloodwise on JustGiving

You can either make a one off gift in memory of a loved one (select Donate) or set up your own Give in Memory page dedicated to them (select Fundraise for campaign). if you prefer not to set up a page and just want to make a one-off gift in memory you can do this here on our website.

If you do set up a JustGiving page, you can:

  • record how much you raise in your loved one’s memory
  • share stories, photos and memories of your loved one
  • give out a unique link for other family members or friends to donate if they wish.

We’re truly touched by the number of people giving to Bloodwise in memory of a loved one. One such example is our supporter Emma Cornish, who recently shared a very moving blog about her fundraising in memory of her husband Steve.

Every gift in memory is a tribute to very special people and we’re grateful to everyone choosing to support Bloodwise in this way. Thanks to your support, we’re able to keep funding ground-breaking research and patient support for other families affected by blood cancer, and we’re one step closer to beating blood cancer for good.
