Last Month the Supporter Engagement Team debuted the first edition of the ‘Our Stories’ blog. We have had some great responses to our enquiries and also seen some heart-warming comments on the first post. As a result of the first blog we have also had emails from supporters offering to share their stories with us.
Our blog this month comes from Richard Castle. Richard was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in May 2008; after drug therapy and chemotherapy didn’t work he had to have a transplant.
Richard decided to volunteer and support Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research in April 2011. He has been Unstoppable ever since.
Although I haven’t met Richard, my colleagues in the Sports and Regional Fundraising Teams say that his passion and enthusiasm are contagious. We hope that you enjoy reading Richard's story as much as we did.
Look out for Aprils inspirational edition of ‘Our Stories’ by Debbie Logan. Get your tissues ready, this one is really emotional.
