Thank you to all who donated towards Andy’s Rat Race Crossing! It was a successful (but painful – he might not admit that) ride!
We are now ready for our next challenge… a 7 day trek up Mount Kilimanjaro!
Peter (PJ), one of Bay Construct’s Site Managers, has volunteered to climb the highest mountain in Africa in efforts to fundraise for Leukemia & Lymphoma Research.
The 24,754m trek up the 5,895m high Mount Kili means at least 7 hours of trekking on 6 of the days and at least 12 on the remaining day. The challenge will commence on 29th January 2015 and PJ is therefore about to commence his training. With just 5 months to go, we will be assisting PJ in his fundraising efforts for which he has a target of £2500. Bay Construct will cover the cost of the trip and we will definitely make sure we have some fun with some fundraising events!
We will keep you all updated and PJ has even promised to do a daily “vlog” during the trek.
Any donations can be made on our Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research Charity page:
We hope you will enjoy keeping updated with PJ’s progress prior and during the event! Thank you all for your support.
The Bay Construct team.
