Post ASH highlights and TAP Trials

The American Society of Haematology (ASH) holds a yearly conference in the states where exciting, cutting edge research is presented. In January there were a few Post ASH Highlight meetings, that took place in London, Manchester and Bristol. These meetings were a review from 11 researchers (including some Bloodwise funded and/or funding committee members) who presented their 6 best pieces of research from the ASH conference. There was a huge amount of material and some really imperative and relevant information covered- the research team is working on providing a detailed overview of it, so watch out in the coming weeks for those highlights!

Thanks again to Natalie White, Louise Smith and Gill Murphy who attended and manned our Bloodwise stands at the meetings.

Also from the world of research, the team attended a workshop for Trials Acceleration Programme (TAP) which brought together 50 clinicians, nurses and other clinical experts to discuss current success of the network and how more can be done. The research team will be putting together an update of this as well, so keep posted!
