Our amazing regional bikeathons are some of the best charity bike rides in the UK and give people the opportunity to get involved and raise money to help beat blood cancer on their doorstep!
The event is now in its 23rd year, during which time it has raised hundreds of thousands of pounds to help us beat blood cancers. The bikeathon is organised by Rugby Round Table and is taking place on the 11 June 2017. There are three cycle routes 65, 26 or a 10 mile route, all have at least one pub along them, to enable a 'pit stop' if required. All routes start from either Newbold Riverside School, in Rugby, or the Royal Oak pub, in Brandon, near Coventry. Find out more about the routes here.
It’s always a fun day of cycling and celebration and with your entry fee a hog roast is included. You don’t have to be a pro to enjoy our bikethon as it is open to all ages, so bring the family for a great day out! This is what makes our fundraising bike rides so special!
The online entry fees for the 10 miles and 26 miles are £15 for adults, £5 for children and £35 for a family of four. The online entry fee for the 65 miles route is £20.
Entry for this event is now open! When you sign up to enter the event you will also receive an entry pack. Everyone is welcome! We will be on hand to help you with your fundraising and training every step of the way.
