Skydive to Beat Blood Cancer

This is a very exciting new partnership between ourselves and Skydive Hibaldstow and we cannot wait to launch the partnership on the 25th July 2015

In recent weeks we have established a great link with Hibaldstow Skydive team and set up a long-lasting partnership with them whereby we are now one of their charity partners. This means, anyone is interested in doing a skydive for charity will find us listed as one of Hibaldstow’s charity partners on their website. This is a great opportunity for us and broadens our horizons and hopefully draws in people from other areas to get involved with our fundraising, helping us to reach our target of £100,000 by 2017.

The partnership means that if any individual wishes to carry out a skydive at any time in the year, the jump from 15,000ft will be at a reduced price of £200. However, as a branch we are offering to reimburse the jump cost to the individual if a minimum of £400 sponsorship is raised, meaning the jump is effectively free of cost to the jumper.

As a launch to this exciting new partnership we are holding a ‘Skydive to Beat Blood Cancer Day’ on Saturday 25th July 2015. This will be an opportunity for individuals to experience the thrill of freefalling through the air from 15,000ft and raise an amazing amount of money for charity.

We have 15 places for thrill seekers to join us on Skyidive to Beat Blood Cancer Day. If you are interested in getting involved in this fantastic opportunity and want to register to jump on the 25th July, please get in touch with us ASAP and before the deadline of the 25th May (subject to availability) via our branch pages on Facebook and Twitter or by contacting emailing llrwintertonanddistrictbranch@yahoo.co.uk

A huge thank you to Hannah Dunkerley, Branch Secretary who is leading the project and has done a fantastic job.

Brilliant news, Danny! I was going to say that the sky's the limit but that's no longer the case! Loving the Skydve to Beat Blood Cancer Day idea to launch the partnership - have you forced someone from the charity to take the plunge yet? If not, then I can help give someone a nudge!

Keep up the good work!

Thanks Andy! Cannot believe the response we've had following announcing it last night - we've already had numerous people come forward expressing an interest! If you'd like to do some nudging that would be great! I have already said the 75ft bungee jump is as high as I'm willing to go!!
