Increasing my training to 2 hours a day

I have been in training now since April 2013 when I first planned my 32km swim. So why swim so far? well two things really, firstly to celebrate Anthonys anniversary and raise awareness and seconly to test myself to make changes to my life. I used to be 25 stone in weight and although I would describe myself as a "fit fat" person I found my weight increased when Anthony was ill due to rushing around balancing life, work and hospital stays. Four years as a parent in hospital certainly took its toll.  32Km is a scarey amount I am up for the challenge and can't wait to get started. I am pleased to say that my weight is down to the 20 stone mark and I am amazed at my fitness levels. I feel energised and will be continuing to swim and equally raise money for the charity. Maybe I can do the Thames next year.... move over David Walliams... you may be a lady but I am the Daddy!!!
