We have two tickets to give away for Laugh for Leukaemia next Friday! This incredible comedy gig features a top secret line up, but we can tell you that performers will include Stewart Lee, Alistair McGowan, Jarred Christmas, The Pin and Mr Swallow. AND there are many more great acts, including big names, to be revealed on the night!
For a chance to be in the audience next Friday 6th September at King's Place in London, all you need to do is tell us a joke! Tweet your joke using #laughforleukaemia or comment on the Facebook post. The joke which makes us laugh most will win you the tickets! If you win we will message you on social media to let you know. If we don't hear back from you within 2 days we may offer the prize to someone else.
To help get you started, here are some of the jokes which were voted the funniest from this year's Edinburgh fringe according to a panel put together by TV channel Dave:
"I used to work in a shoe-recycling shop. It was sole-destroying." - Alex Horne
"My friend told me he was going to a fancy dress party as an Italian island. I said to him ‘Don’t be Sicily’." - Tim Vine
"I can give you the cause of anaphylactic shock in a nutshell." - Gary Delaney
"The good thing about lending someone your time machine is that you basically get it back immediately." - Chris Coltrane
"The universe implodes. No matter." - Liam Williams
And one our ICT manager Jim told me in the office last week:
"Did you head about the massive paddle sale they were having in that boat shop round the corner? Apparently it was quite an oar-deal."
Come on everyone, I think we can do better than that.
