Our corporate partners are very important to us. Not only do they generate a substantial share of our voluntary income each year, but they also help us unlock a huge amount of potential by raising awareness and helping develop innovative new ways to fundraise. And of course, it’s all for the benefit of blood cancer patients – we couldn’t invest the amount we do in vital research and patient services without the help of our corporate partners.

We’re fortunate to have a number of partnerships with companies across the UK that share our values and epitomise our belief that life is a gift to be used wisely and lived fiercely – and we’re always looking for new and exciting ways to work together with companies big and small.

Celebrating success

In the past month we’ve been celebrating the achievements of not one, but two partnerships which have both shown great determination and creativity in exceeding their original fundraising targets by a big margin. So to begin with, a heartfelt thank you goes to…

GB Railfreight

GB Railfreight nominated Bloodwise as their Charity of the Year in August 2014, with the target of raising at least £20,000 to help us beat blood cancer. Through a wide range of events and challenges including marathon runs, skydiving and peak climbing – along with their hugely popular public charity rail tours – the company have more than trebled that amount, ending up on an amazing total of £62,118.99.

Royal London

After being nominated as Charity of the Year for Royal London back in 2013, we embarked on a partnership which aimed to raise £100,000 over two years. Several cake sales, clothes swaps and sporting challenges later, Royal London had surpassed their target ahead of time and opted to extend the partnership. Following some super creative fundraising in the form of a pedometer challenge and a pelican photo competition, Royal London have more than doubled their target to reach a sensational £219,076​.
