Just wanted to share with you all this lovely link to a photo on Twitter.
I had the pleasure of meeting the fans of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander books last weekend to celebrate the making of the new TV series of the book by US TV company, Starz. The show is being filmed in Scotland this year.
The gathering also raised vital funds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research & World Child Cancer. The organisers planned a fantastic array of activities for the fans over the weekend and on Sunday they climbed Arthur's seat. The photo captures the fans displaying our banners.
The whole event was a non-profit event and Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research was chosen as the main charity for the weekend because this is the adopted charity of one of the main stars of the show, Sam Heughan. They have raised thousands of pounds to help us beat blood cancers with raffles, auctions and Heughligan Hike.
