We’re so lucky at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research to have such dedicated Branches and Fundraising Groups who raise so much money and are so committed to the cause, and our South East region is no exception. One such example is the Brentwood, Hutton & Billericay Branch – read about their achievements here.

Branches and Fundraising Groups support us in different ways, organising fundraising events and helping to raise awareness in the South East. They really are the backbone of the charity and we couldn’t do the vital work we do without them.

Every group has their own activities ranging from regular quiz nights or cycle rides to special balls or concerts. But they all have one thing in common: they want to make sure everyone with a blood cancer is given the best possible chance of survival.

If you have some time to give and are looking to meet new people, our groups could be for you!

If there isn’t a local group near you, why not start your own? You could get together with friends, family or work colleagues to raise money for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research – and you can do as much or as little as you want.

Again, you decide what fundraising you have the time to do and we’ll keep you updated with possible events and activities your group can get involved with. We’ll also make sure you have all the fundraising materials you need and will be on hand to give advice and support every step of the way.

Another great blog Caitlin!

I'm genuinely considering setting up a branch for Wimbledon and Tooting but will have to make that a 2016 objective as I'm swamped with the wedding stuff this year.

We love running our own branch in our little town of Winterton! It's great to know we are making a difference, and there's a fantstic social element too it as well! Great to know your putting your spare time to good use too!
