Burns Supper for Bloodwise
Celebrate Burns Night with us
Hosting a Burns Night is a great excuse to get together with family and friends. This event has also been selected as the first challenge of My Peak Challenge 2017 – so welcome all you lovely Peakers!
For over 200 years, Scots around the world have celebrated the tradition of Burns Night on or around 25 January – the birthday of famous Scottish poet and lyricist Robert Burns – with a traditional supper of haggis and a wee dram of Scotch whisky.
How can I take part?
Taking part is simple: our Burns Supper Toolkit gives you all the info, tips and recipes you need for a brilliant Burns Supper. By charging your friends a small amount to attend, together you’ll be having fun and embracing a centuries-old Scottish tradition, all while helping to fund vital blood cancer research.
By signing up, you’ll also be entered into a competition where you could win one of three great prizes: £600 voucher towards a kilt from highly acclaimed 21st Century Kilts, Edinburgh; a bottle of whisky from the Scotch Malt Whisky Society; or a book of Robert Burns poetry signed by our Scotland President, Sam Heughan.

Unfortunately due to the complexities of competition laws in each country we are only able to open this competition to those people resident in the UK, US or Canada. However, this does not prevent you from joining in with the fun of a Burns Supper evening.
