Our mission to beat blood cancer depends on our ability to tell the story of our research in an inspiring way. We are looking for a Research Communications Officer who can help us do that.
To be successful you will have a background in science, but more importantly will be able to communicate research in a way that fuels imaginations and brings our research to life.
With a focus on supporting our partnerships and philanthropy team in preparing proposals and reporting back on impact, you will also communicate our research through our publications, website, and events.
If you can turn complex science into compelling stories, this is the job for you.
You can apply for this opportunity by submitting a CV and Cover letter (limited to 1 page only) via our website. As part of your application we would also like to see an example of your work and request that you complete the following task and send this additional supporting material to firstname.lastname@example.org, marked clearly with: YOUR FULL NAME/ SUPPORTING MATERIAL FOR RCO ROLE APPLICATION.
Task: Read this paper - http://www.bloodadvances.org/content/3/1/21?sso-checked=true and write a blog for our website to communicate the findings to our supporters.
