We at Bloodwise need to engage with many more people affected with blood cancer, and we will only do this if we communicate in a consistently excellent way. This means we need to make sure we coordinate our communications – both within the marketing and communications division and more widely across the charity – so they happen in a coherent and unified way.
This newly-created role is about making sure this happens, so giving our communications an impact that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Reporting to the Deputy Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for forward planning and championing a joined-up approach to communications. You will work closely with teams across Bloodwise to maintain a communications calendar containing internal plans and external opportunities. This will involve acting as a communications adviser across the charity, and initiating discussions to make sure our communications is properly integrated.
Working with the Digital Transformation team and the Data Analysis and Reporting Manager, you will help ensure that we are continually improving our understanding of our audiences, and that we are using this insight to reach more people affected by blood cancer and communicating with them in an impactful way.
