Welcome!

Welcome to the February Bloodwise Haemato-oncology Nursing Bulletin. We hope you've all had a great start to the year, it's been fantastic to see so many of you at the Calendar Girls events and also engaging in so many other ways! 

It's been a brilliant start to 2017 here at HQ and we have lots of excitement coming up, including the launch of two brand new services, as well as our fabulous Shared Learning Conference at the National Gallery in London, and much more!

We hope you're all having a fantastic start to the year and thank you all again for your continued support of Bloodwise and commitment to helping us provide the best support possible for those affected by blood cancer.

Blood Cancer Connect is coming soon...

Blood Cancer Connect, a new online support and information directory service for patients and nurses, will be launched by Bloodwise later this year and should be a fantastic resource for anyone affected by blood cancer.

Our New Bloodwise Chemotherapy Booklet - an appeal to Nurses!

Research Roundup 

A recent study has pinpointed a key enzyme, vitally important for the production of new blood cells in the body, which could help to improve the success rates of stem cell therapy.

Your new Healthcare Professional Liaison Officer

Suzanne Beattie joined the Patient Experience Team in January 2017 and will be working with nurses to support their roles and to increase patient awareness and uptake of Bloodwise resources and support services.

Calendar Girls - An Inspirational Start to 2017!

It's been amazing to see so many of you at Calendar Girls performances in January or February - thank you all so much for taking the time! It's been an amazing and inspirational experience for all of us and the results have been brilliant!
